Mission:

You & Improved is dedicated to providing you with encouragement and the necessary resources to help you meet your personal and professional goals.

We all have goals, big ones like ‘climb Mt. Everest’ to small ones like ‘finish this term paper and go get a Slurpee’. At some point we also almost always need someone to help us meet these goals, whether it be from a Sherpa or tutor.

You & Improved offers a wide range of business services including office media, creative & biographical writing, and home and/or office organization as well as social media management. We also offer 24-hour mobile Notary Public services within Southern Oregon.

We additionally provide services and support for meeting personal goals. While You & Improved won’t pack your high-altitude gear for you we can help you figure out how to save for the trip, meet your fitness & health goals and several things in between. You might have to buy your own Slurpee, however we can help you get back on track with your educational plans, help you wade through financial aid paperwork and even find you that tutor.

You & Improved further offers in-home, back-to-basics cooking lessons along with special classes for those who need to work around a specialized diet such as Gluten-free, Diabetic, Heart Disease, etc.

Meet the owner:

Founder Dusty Alexander is a retired retail manager and customer service specialist and retired Medical Assistant with more than 10 years of “on the job training” in living with Chronic Illness; specifically Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome as well as Migraines.

Dusty has extensive training in customer service and human resources as well as internet research and both fiction and non-fiction writing. In addition to her work as a social marketing manager, life-coach and writer, Dusty further enjoys cooking and teaching others about healthful foods, herbs and spices. She is also an avid board gamer who adores Science Fiction – Fantasy books/movies /programs, road trips, hiking, being in nature and spending time with her daughter, family and friends.

As both a sufferer of chronic illness and the long-term leader of a support group for others, Dusty well understands the ins-and-outs of dealing with life’s ‘little challenges’. She recognizes the importance of incorporating proper nutrition, physical therapies, personal goals and structure into any wellness plan in order to create balance in one’s life. Utilizing a combination of humor and “tough love” to see her clients needs, Dusty encourages others to constantly strive to fulfill their goals for living happier, healthier lives.
